What is RBI Nationwide Quiz for Undergraduate Students?
The RBI90Quiz 2024 Nationwide Quiz for Undergraduate Students is organized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This quiz is open to all undergraduate students from recognized colleges in India, irrespective of their stream of study. The RBI90Quiz will test participants on general knowledge through a multi-level competition starting with an online phase, followed by state and zonal rounds, and culminating in a national final. Registration is now open, and the competition is set to begin in September 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
- All undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognized colleges in India are eligible.
- Participants should not be older than 25 years as of September 1, 2024 (born on or after September 1, 1999).
- RBI employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The same applies to employees and family members of agencies directly or indirectly associated with organizing the quiz.
How to Register for RBI90Quiz?
- Participants must register in teams of two members from the same college. There is no limit to the number of teams that can register from a single college.
- Registration is free of charge.
- If a team’s college name is not listed during registration, they can submit the college details via the “Colleges” tab, “Contact Us” form, live chat, or helpline. An email notification will be sent once the college is added to the list.
- Both team members must provide their names, gender, date of birth (as per Class X certificate), email ID, mobile number, and student ID number. These credentials will be verified if the team advances to subsequent rounds; incorrect or incomplete details may lead to disqualification.
- If team composition needs to change after registration, the previous registration can be deleted, and the team can re-register with the new members. The same team must continue through all subsequent rounds if selected.
- Visually impaired candidates should indicate their status by selecting the appropriate box during registration. A valid certificate will be required if they proceed to subsequent rounds.
- Upon successful registration, both team members will receive an auto-generated team code, which they will use along with their password to log in and participate in the quiz on the designated day(s).
RBI 90 Quiz Format
- The quiz consists of 36 multiple-choice questions with varying difficulty levels. Each question must be answered within 25 seconds, making the total quiz duration 15 minutes. Visually impaired students will receive an additional 25 seconds per question, extending their total quiz time to 30 minutes.
- The quiz will be available in both Hindi and English.
- Each correct answer earns 1 point, with no penalties for incorrect answers.
- Sample quizzes will be periodically posted on the platform, which can be attempted multiple times without needing a special code.
Quiz Schedule
- The online RBI90Quiz will be held between XX AM to XX PM on specific dates in September 2024. Any changes to the dates or timing will be updated on the official site.
- Each team is allowed only one attempt at the quiz, and both team members must participate together on a single device (mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop).
Tie Breaker Rules
- Ties will be resolved based on the least amount of time taken to complete the quiz. For visually impaired students, the actual time taken will be halved.
- If ties persist, the number of difficult questions answered correctly will be considered. If ties still exist, the time taken to answer those difficult questions will be the deciding factor.
Technical Requirements for the Online Round
- The platform is compatible with all internet browsers. A stable internet connection is necessary.
- Right-clicking, copying, and opening another tab or window are disabled and will lead to automatic quiz submission.
Selection for Subsequent Rounds
- A specified number of teams, limited to a maximum of two teams per college, will be selected from each state for in-person state-level rounds, subject to verification of registration details.
- For teams advancing through the online quiz, travel and accommodation expenses for subsequent rounds will be covered by RBI, subject to certain limits.
Terms & Conditions
- Teams must avoid using any unfair means during any stage of the quiz.
- There is no registration fee. Any communication indicating a participation fee is fraudulent and should be ignored.
- By registering, participants agree to receive updates related to the quiz and consent to being recorded or photographed for telecast or publication by RBI during subsequent rounds.
- RBI reserves the right to reject any team’s participation without prior notice or to change the rules and terms as deemed necessary. All decisions made by RBI are final.
- If a team qualifies for the subsequent rounds, verification of the information submitted during registration will be conducted. Any discrepancies will result in disqualification.
- Students are advised to read the rules, FAQs, and all updates related to the quiz carefully.
- RBI reserves the right to change the competition modalities, including the right to cancel the competition at any stage without explanation. All updates or announcements will be posted on the RBI’s official website.
