The FIP Photographer of the Year Contest 2024 is an esteemed competition organized by the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP). Eligibility Criteria for FIP Photographer of the Year Contest
- The contest is open to anyone residing in India.
- Entries may be rejected if they do not conform to the contest rules.
- FIP office bearers and WC committee members are not eligible.
- Entrants can participate in all three contests separately.
- The jury’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
- FIP reserves the right to modify the rules to ensure smooth conduct.
How to Submit Your Entry
To participate in the FIP Photographer of the Year Contest 2024, follow these steps:
- Submit a series of 5 digital images that tell a coherent story on a subject of your choice. The images must be either monochrome or color, not a mix of both.
- Write a “Statement of Intent” in no more than 50 words, explaining your thought process and objectives while creating the portfolio.
- Ensure that your images are in JPEG format, with a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a file size not exceeding 2 MB.
- Upload the images, along with your registration form and “Statement of Intent,” on the FIP website.
Entry Fee
The entry fee is ₹300 for FIP members and ₹500 for non-members, payable online. Entries without full payment will be disqualified.

Awards and Recognition
- 1st Prize: ₹10,000
