What is the CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge?
The Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2024 is organized by the CBSE Central Board Of Secondary Education. This contest evaluates students’ ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-life scenarios. Open to all students of Classes VIII to X in CBSE-affiliated schools, the challenge has no fees for the first stage. The top 100 students from each CBSE region will receive a Merit Certificate. The last date to register is 24th August 2024.

Levels/Stages of Aryabhata Ganit Challenge
Level | Description |

Level 1 | School Level Competition conducted by the school using a question paper provided by CBSE. Schools will download and administer the exam. |
Level 2 | National Level Competition conducted by CBSE as a Computer-Based Test for the top three students from each school. |

Selection Process of Aryabhata Ganit Challenge
- First Stage:
- Schools must register through the link here by 24th August 2024, 5:30 p.m. No fee for the first stage.
- Question paper and answer key will be available from 27th August to 4th September 2024.
- Schools will conduct the test and identify the top three students. Schools may conduct a screening test if necessary.
- Schools must register the top three students and pay a fee of Rs. 900/- between 16th September and 22nd September 2024.
- Second Stage:
- A computer-based test will be held for the top three students from each school on 4th October 2024.
- Schools must have completed the first stage to be eligible for the second stage.
- Top 100 students from each CBSE region will receive a Merit Certificate.
Fees for Aryabhata Ganit Challenge

Second Level | Rs. 900/- per school, payable through Debit Card/Credit Card/NEFT. Fee once paid is non-refundable. |
Recognition of Schools
- The top 10 schools from each region with the highest student participation in the first stage will receive an appreciation certificate from CBSE.
- Encourage students to participate and enhance their mathematical skills. Participation can be acknowledged in the students’ portfolios.
