The Kasthuri Sreenivasan Memorial Textile Quiz 2024 is a prestigious event organized by the Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust. This 6th Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition is open to students specializing in textile-related courses. Due to the overwhelming response in previous years, this quiz is now conducted biennially, with the next edition scheduled for 14th September 2024. The last date to register is 7th September 2024.

Quiz Format
The competition is divided into two groups:
- Group I: 3rd-year students of Diploma in Textile courses in Polytechnic Colleges.
- Group II: 3rd & 4th-year students of Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel, and Garment Technology in Engineering Colleges and Universities.
Competition Structure
- Qualifying Round: All enrolled teams will undergo a written test with objective-type questions. Six teams from each group will advance to the finals.
- Final Round: The final quiz will include ten rounds, such as audio, picture & logo identification, rapid-fire, etc.

Online Registration Only: A maximum of 5 teams per college can register. To register, visit the registration page. The deadline for registration is 7th September 2024.

Prizes
Competing teams will vie for the prestigious Kasthuri Sreenivasan Shield, awarded to the 1st prize winners in each group. Additional cash prizes include:
- Group I: ₹25,000, ₹20,000, ₹15,000
- Group II: ₹30,000, ₹25,000, ₹20,000
Winners will also receive complimentary subscriptions to the textile magazine Spinning Textiles (three years for winners, one year for runners-up).
Rules & Regulations
- Each team must consist of two students from the same college.
- A maximum of five teams per college is allowed.
- Participants must bring their online registration forms, duly attested by their Head of Department/Principal, along with ID cards and bonafide certificates.
- Travel reimbursement and accommodation are available for participants traveling from over 50 km away, subject to ticket submission.
